iPad

It seems almost unfair just how far ahead of the competition Apple is. With the new announcement of the Apple iPad, competing companies absolutely have to be shaking in their boots, and with good reason.

Apple just unveiled their newest stroke of genius: The iPad. Essentially, this bad boy does everything your iPhone and iPod can do but it also has the capabilities of a laptop. Keeping with the slim and sleek look of their previous products, the iPad will be ultra thin, lightweight, sleek and of course, stylish.

The iPad is about the size of a normal piece of paper (a little thicker) and is 100% touch-screen. I'm not sure yet how much these things cost but I'd bet my life savings that it costs nearly my life savings...at least for now. As was the case with the iPhone, this will be pricey at first and almost impossible to find. However, if we learned anything from the iPhone, it's that patience is a virtue. Wait a little while. The price will drop and Apple will work out the kinks in the original model, then bring us a new and improved second generation that will undoubtedly be cheaper.
