They Came From The Shadows

Artist: Teenage Bottlerocket
Album: They Came From The Shadows
Release Date: Sept. 15th

Perhaps never before has an album title been so spot on. Of course, the significance only rings true in a metaphorical sense but all things considered, Teenage Bottlerocket has seemingly come out of nowhere. "Nowhere" in this case, is Laramie, Wyoming.

Let's be perfectly honest here, how many of you can name a known band that hails from the great state of Wyoming? Exactly. Yet, oddly enough the band has managed to not only make it about as big as a punk band can but they've managed to persevere through years of hardship. Making it big while living in Wyoming isn't easy.

While not too many people have heard of the band before, They Came From The Shadows is actually the band's 4th full-length but it is, however, their first release on Fat (which is why they're getting so much buzz nowadays).

If you're a fan of The Ramones, Groovie Ghoulies, or The Vindictives then you'll dig Teenage Bottlerocket. They have a classic punk rock sound that is half punk bop and half anhtem punk. Good stuff -- very catchy.
